On the occasion of the 64th edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano, Salone Raritas takes shape as a new exhibition path dedicated to bespoke projects and B2B collaborations. A context in which installations and design visions foster encounters between artists, designers, and manufacturers, highlighting the value of dialogue and the unique contribution each player brings to the world of contract design.

Within this framework, the collaboration between Draga & Aurel and Salviati emerges as a shared reflection on light, conceived as an active element—capable of passing through matter and participating in its transformation.

From this research comes a collection of unique furnishing elements, where experimentation and savoir-faire intertwine. The Soffio and Crisalide collections, specially designed by Draga & Aurel for Salone Raritas, together with the reinterpretation of the Ganci LS—an iconic modular system from Salviati’s 1960s catalogue—tell the story of a design journey that brings together memory and innovation, tradition and new expressive possibilities.
