Elementi Lagunari

One of the first well-documented collections by Luciano Gaspari for Salviati, Elementi Lagunari interpret the aesthetics of the ’50s. These abstract and evocative elements hint at the thin structures that rise from the water of the Venetian Lagoon.
Made of grey or pink solid glass, they show a thin coloured thread, in white or teal, that rises from the base along the vertical axis.
The compact and heavy shapes at the top are attached to the thin bodies at the base: the master’s challenge is to maintain the verticality of the element avoiding any distortion.
