Aurel and Salviati has led to the development of unique furnishing elements, shaped from the idea of light as an active agent\u2014an integral part of matter and its evolution.<\/p>\n<p>This experimentation takes physical form through the Soffio and Crisalide collections, specially designed by Draga &#038; Aurel approached glass in a similar way, engaging in a process of open-ended research.<\/p>\n<p>The Soffio and Crisalide lamps are a vivid expression of this exploration, which took shape within the Salviati furnace, in an open dialogue between traditional techniques and the potential of the raw material.<\/p>\n<p>The Soffio lamps embody the essence of blown glass, pushed to the limits of its plasticity. The material richness of glass takes form through the combination of different techniques and types of glass used for the boule\u2014pulegoso, cotisso, and crackl\u00e9\u2014supported by a metal base that both sustains and enhances them, resulting in a highly contemporary ensemble. The panels are created using the glass fusing technique, with the aim of appearing light, floating, and ethereal, while still retaining their density and material presence when observed up close.<\/p>\n<p>The Crisalide lamps do not simply illuminate; they narrate a process\u2014a continuous transformation that takes shape in matter that still appears alive.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cWith glass, we chose not to impose a form, but to listen to the material. Entering the furnace and working alongside master glassmakers means embracing the unexpected and transforming it into a project.
