Norberto Moretti was born in Venice in 1961.

In 1979 he began his  apprenticeship in Alfredo  Barbini's glassworks and attended a silk-screen printing course at the International Graphic School of Venice.
Specialized in glass finishing, he perfectioned his technique working for S.A.L.I.R., a company in Murano and opened his own studio in 1992.
Chairman of the Centre Glass Studio that he founded in 1997 and co-funder of the International Glass Magazine in 1998, he gave a number of courses about the glass finishing techniques in Spain.
A selection of his works is in the permanent collection of The Galleria Regina in Murano, Pauly & C in Venice and Mostly Glass in Englewood, US.

For Salviati, he designed Gabbiano, Lucciole and Pizzicati.
