Francesco Lucchese, born near Messina in 1960, graduates at the Polytechnic University in Milan in 1985.

In the same year he is awarded with the first prize for the design of a folding chair presented at “Traslazione”, a design competition for collective spaces organised by Gruppo Industriale Busnelli e dall’ADI.
Since 1989 he is consultant and designer for the company Inda and Veca. In 1989/91 he also teaches Industrial Design at the Brera Academy, presenting in the same period the installation “200 years of sculpture at Brera” in the city of Milan.

For Salviati, he designed Abaco and Algoritmi.
