Internationally
renowned studio, comprising Jane Dillon and Tom Grieves whose work
is produced by Cassina, Herman Miller and Habitat. Jane Dillon originally
worked for Ettore Sottsass at Olivetti, subsequently setting up her
studio in London in 1972 and gaining a reputation for innovative
office seating, and working with revolutionary materials. She is
currently a lecturer at the Royal College of Arts. "The objects
that we create, whether intended for common or unique purposes, always
result from an idea that we express, and blend in the natural movement
of the materials that we select. Working in close connection with
highly qualified craftsmen and producers, we try to create extraordinary
objects that remain very close to the material used, all the while
exploring its full structural and aesthetic potential."
