Born in Murano (Italy) in 1943, Renzo
Stellon comes from a family of
glassmakers.
He studied at the Venice School of Art but made his real apprenticeship as a
teen-ager in his father’s factory in Murano, which is specialised in the
production of components for the lighting industry. Later he took on the lead
of the company and he sold it in the nineties
to an important group of the island.
In those years, he met Salviati and in 1997
he was appointed production manager.
Since 2001, he has dedicated himself to consulting and designing to he has
designed glass objects. For Salviati he designed Drops, Phuket, Swirl.
