Katherine Krizek presently heads her own industrial design studio specialised in furniture and tabletop design in Rome. International manufacturers such  as Zanotta, Capellini Int'l, Acerbis Int'l, Bialetti, Mandarina Duck, and Interflex are among her clients.

Recognitions of her projects include selection for the Premio Compasso d'oro in Milan, New York Fundation of the Arts architecture fellowship as well as ID Magazine Best of Category in furniture. She is currently Professor of Industrial Design of the School of Architecture University of Rome "La Sapienza".
